About Dr Madhi Sundaram

As a Nephrologist and specialist physician for over 20 years, I possess a wealth of experience in management of complex medical and renal issues in tertiary care centres in Australia and overseas. I currently work at West Moreton Health services. My experience encompasses several aspects of renal medicine that includes: acute and chronic renal disorders, acid and electrolytes abnormalities, immunological renal disorders, renal issues associated with systemic pathologies, difficult to manage hypertension including renovascular disorders, and renal transplantation.

I have special interest in diagnosis of inherited renal disorders and interpretation of molecular diagnostic reports and I am associated with a select group of renal physicians who have expertise in this sub-speciality. I also carry a large experience in managing complex clinical issues in acute and general medicine. I am involved in academic research and mentorship of medical graduates. My focus is to deliver informed, evidence based patient care.
